The first time I went to demiya was a long time ago at a different location before this one opened. After this one opened I felt it didn't taste as good as I remembered the other location being, and then when the pandemic hit, I felt it was even worse with options being super limited, but it was never bad. I just went again today and it was super tasty, they seem to be back up to speed. I definitely recommend demiya if you're craving Japanese curry, especially now that curry house is closed. I like adding some vegetables to my curry like mushrooms and eggplant since otherwise I feel it's a bit plain for me. Their menchi katsu and tonkatsu are both great. I'd skip on the takoyaki though.
I was pretty surprised on how tasty the food was. Got the chicken katsu, deep fried beef katsu, and a small salad. The portions are also justifiable for the price. Would come back again
Ordered tonkatsu curry, two sunny side eggs, and mushroom. It is really good. Curry with mushrooms is next level. So delicious.
Been to multiple locations and the food remains consistent across all of them. There are many options in Cupertino and this remains as a solid go to when in the area.
One of the best and proper curry spots in the Bay. These guys care about their product and craft. Great spot for a quick lunch or meeting for straightforward curry.
